Years after his passing in 2008, Lupicor remains a defining force in global showjumping breeding. Even today, he maintains a prominent position in the WBFSH Rankings, a testament to his profound genetic influence. His valuable blood continues to be a cornerstone in the damlines of countless international top-level performers.
Lupicor has proven himself an absolute elite sire. From a relatively compact number of offspring, he has produced over 400 international sport horses, 88 of which have competed at the 1.50m and 1.60m Grand Prix level. One of his most notable ambassadors is undoubtedly Bennys Legacy (ds. Voltaire), who is highly successful at the 1.60m (5*) level under American rider Adrienne Sternlicht, recently claiming another Grand Prix victory in Wellington (USA). Other successful offspring include Picador, Ashton Dakota, Baby Love, and Adamo.
Lupicor is available via high-quality frozen semen.
Iris Michels and Isaac, the Numero Uno son out of a Corland mare bred
by H.W.F. Castelijns, have formed a successful partnership for many years.
At CSI3* Outdoor Gelderland in Lichtenvoorde, they celebrated their 13th
international victory together, winning Thursday’s 1.40m Small Tour class.
At the same event where La Gupardie finished fifth in the Grand Prix,
Happyness (Van Gogh x Clinton), bred by Daniëlle Linders and Marcel van
Leeuwen, also put in a series of strong performances.
