Corlou PS sold to Jur Vrieling26 may 2026The 11-year-old Grand Prix stallion Corlou PS has been sold to Jur Vrieling.
Over the past six years, this approved son of Cornet Obolensky has developed
into an experienced showjumper at 1.55m Grand Prix-level under Caroline
Mueller. Owner Harry Kuipers, in close consultation with all parties involved,
has decided to sell a 50% share of the stallion to Vrieling. He commented:
“Jur Vrieling is one of the best riders in the Netherlands and has the
opportunity to compete at the most prestigious events. He showed interest
in riding the stallion, and after the excellent and careful education Corlou
received under Caroline, we see this as a wonderful next step toward the
very highest level.” Just a few weeks ago, the approved stallion and Caroline
Mueller secured an impressive eighth place in the Grand Prix of Hagen.
Daan Horn added: “For Corlou, this is a fantastic opportunity to prove
himself at the very highest level. Jur has several Grand Prix horses at
his disposal, is a top-class rider, and competes at the finest CSI5* events.
The stallion is in excellent form, has the ideal age and experience, and
has been superbly produced by Caroline. For breeding purposes, Corlou will
remain exclusively available through our stallion station De Wiemselbach
with both fresh and frozen semen.” Back
