Lupicor H passed away16 january 2008Last Saturday night our highly respected stallion Lupicor died because of a colic, a huge loss for the breeding industry and certainly for the Wiemselbach stables. Lupicor ( Lux Z x Pilot x Cor de la Bryere) was born in 1995 and was bred by the Schroembges family in Wellerlooi ( Limburg). The brown stallion, bred out of the famous Pilot daughter Jourdette S was approved at age 2 for the Westfalen studbook. He stood at stud with the German stallion producer Heinrich Dowe until his return to the Wiemselbach in 2001. The talented son of Lux Z then competed successfully in national classes as well as in the Dutch stallion competitions under the saddle of Rogier Linssen. Because of his great performances he was then approved by the KWPN. After his international jumping career with riders Ben Schröder and Marco Kutscher, Lupicor became a world class breeding stallion. His first offspring in Westfalen was very promising and soon after that Lupicor was able to make his mark in the Dutch breeding industry by producing many champions in foal and mare inspections and the stallion approvals. The valuable genetics of Lupicor will be available for the breeders through the 2006 KWPN stallion champion L’Esprit ( Lupicor x Landgraf I). From Lupicor, who belongs to the best 1% of all German stallions and has a very high breeding index in Holland, limited (high quality) frozen semen will be available. Source: De Wiemselbach B.V. Back
