Van Gogh Champion in the KWPN ability Test

Van Gogh, another son by top breeding stallion Numero Uno got approved recently. That makes the total score of approved stallions by Numero Uno five. Van Gogh scored for his performance during the autumn test very high notes and received the title champion KWPN ability test 2005. No other stallion has received a comparable amount of points over the last 6 years.

Numero Uno wins at Verona CSI

In the 1.45 table C class that was held just before the WorldCup Qualifier it was once again Numero Uno that was the best. With his rider Marco Kutscher he showed off a superb round beating Marcus Ehning (2nd) and Ludo Philippaerts (3rd). Kutscher and Ehning were the only competitors that came through without faults.

Successful show for Micheal Korompis

Our stable rider Micheal Korompis had a very good show at the Italian equestrian centre in Arezzo (Italy). On Sunday he won the grand prix with the mare Indian Joy (v. Le Santo). He was also placed second with Nikita (v. Indorado). With Osiris (v. Lux Z) he was placed several times and won a 1.35m class.

Son of Numero Uno record sale at auction

Weert, 17th of September. It was the KWPN bred Timo (v. Numero Uno) which was the best sold horse at the Sport Horse Sales. The five years old son of Numero Uno out of the mare Loretta W (v. Damiro) was by far the public's favorite and was sold to England for 140.000 euro.

Numero Uno daughter wins

Varsseveld, the overall winner of the young horse competition for four years old show jumping horses was the Numero Uno daughter Ureca, ridden by Henri Stegeman. With a fifth place on Friday and first place in Sundays finals the judges rewarded Ureca for her excellent way of jumping. The total of 91.5 points was good enough for the overall win.

Most expensive filly by Numero Uno

The 14th national KWPN foal sales were held on the 10th of September at the Flevomanege. The 41 sold foals had an average price of 4.800 euro. The most expensive filly was Anora DL (v. Numero Uno) she was sold for 7.400 euro. This very attractive and excellent moving foal by Numero Uno out of the elite mare Senora C (v. Goodtimes) is sold to Mr. Jansen from Dalfsen.

Lanaken. World Championship 5 year olds

Steven Veldhuis showed the Dutch bred Tia Maria (Numero Uno x Nimmerdor). After a very successful weekend only one fence in the final jump off made this combination miss out on the World Title for five years old show jumping horses. The combination ended up on a respectable fifth place.

Lupicor colt wins the KWPN championship

Aikido V. has been crowned the new national champion of the KWPN bred colts during the national young horses and breeders championships in Ermelo. Because of his superb movements and type this son ofLupicor was awarded the title above his fellow competitors who also qualified for the finals. Aikido V. has been bred by the van Veen family out of the mare Lady Dalista (by. Amethist).

Upgrade wins at Rheine

The stallionUpgrade has once more proven himself to be one of the most talented young stallions around. In Germany at the Rheine national show-jumping horse show this son of Heartbreaker won the Springpferde-Prüfung for four years old horses. With 8.5 points Upgrade was the best out of 50 competitors. The stallion ridden by our stable rider Pieter Jan Berkers was also very successful during the CSI Geesteren show last July.

Dublin horse Show: Numero Uno offspring successful

During the Royal Dublin Horse Show it was again an offspring by Numero Uno that attracted the attention in the young horse competitions. Turboko, by Numero Uno out of a Habsburg mare had already shown his tremendous quality at the qualifiers for the Dublin finals. Turboko is bred by the Korevaar family out of the mare Myrna Utopia en was placed third in the five years old finals with the Irish rider Clement Macmahon.

Numero Uno successful at Hachenburg show

The second show-appearance for the KWPN stallion Numero Uno since the 2005 breeding season has resulted in some very appealing results. During the international showjumping event in Hachenburg, Germany, Numero Uno became second in the 1.40m Table A on Friday and second again at the 1.45m winning round on Saturday-evening under the saddle of European Champion Marco Kutscher.

CSI Geesteren: Upgrade impresses

During the young horses competitions for four years old horses the KWPN approved stallion Upgrade (Heartbreaker x Pilot x Frühling) has left a great impressing among the many spectators that were present. The stallion that jumps with a fabulous hind technique was rewarded with a 9 for jumping and an 8 for his ride-ability.

The colt August (Lupicor x Karandasj) became second in the overall foal championship at the Central Inspection in the Gelderland region. Breeders of this foal are the Morsink family from Bronkhorst, the Netherlands.

Ettenleur: Solitair 3rd

A fantastic atmosphere that was similar to any modern international show, difficult courses and a perfect footing were some of the ingredients that were present at the Ettenleur Young Horses (inter)national Show. In the six years old there were only 3 combinations out of 65 competitors that remained without faults over a two round competition. Among them the KWPN approved Solitair (Voltaire x Libero H) ridden by our stable rider Micheal Korompis.

Lupicor-offspring at the top in Lienen

At the first qualification for the Bundeschampionat 2005 in Lienen, Lupicor-offspring impressed. No fewer than 4 Lupicor-offspring qualified for the Bundeschampionat 2005. Winner of the 5-year olds became the mare Lady Touch (Lupicor x Pilot), ridden by Florian Karns.

Perfect weather, phantastic atmosphere and very appealing stallions made our stallion show to a big success. On this bright first Sunday in April the spectators saw a magnificent presentation of our stallions, by hand and under the saddle of our professional riders Michael Korompis and Pieter Jan Berkers.

Solitair wins in Rhede

Saturday March 19th 2005, the stallion Solitair (Voltaire x Libero H) won the first Qualification of the Damhus Cup for 6-year-old jumping horses. Solitair got the high mark 8,4 and that made him the convincing winner over the other competitors. The Damhus Cup is a series of 4 competitions and a final and is highly valued by the German National Top Riders.

Lacco Ameno wins

The Lupicor-son Lacco Ameno, already convincing in the stallion competition last winter, won March 18th 2005 the first qualification of the Damhus City Cup. The second place also as for our rider Michael Korompis, this time with the mare Torrita (v, Libero H).

Numero Uno again very convincing

Three days of great jumping sport were the ingredients of the International Stallion Show in Zwolle. Particularly in the Best Stallion-class the competitors were well-matched. The approved Libero H-son Numero Uno showed his good form by leading the ranking after two days. In the final deciding jump-off of the Best Stallion Marco Kutscher tried everything to gain victory. His time was fast enough, but they unfortunately dropped the last fence. The International Stallion Show was a good show for us and a real good opportunity for the audience to see our stallions.

Numero Uno 3rd in Paris

Numero Uno successful in Vigo (Spain)

Numero Uno keeps his outstanding form of the last weeks. The son of Libero H was three times placed during the show in Vigo, with a second, third and fifth place. Because of his participation in the show in Bordeaux (France) he missed the 1m40 jumping at the KWPN stallion show, but he impressed in  s Hertogenbosch with three sons selected for the stallion test and the champion Vico (mv. Ekstein) of the jumping stallions.

Numero Uno convinces in Amsterdam

With a 7th place on Friday and a 2nd place on Sunday, Numero Uno left his mark at Jumping Amsterdam. With Marco Kutscher the dark bay son of Libero H showed his fantastic jumping manners and continued the good results from Stuttgart, Munchen and La Coruna.
His offspring is making their mark more and more. Next Thursday 6 sons of Numero Uno will be presented at the Stallion Show in  s Hertogenbosch.

Travolta wins KWPN-stallion competition in Zuidbroek

After a exciting competition the Lux Z-son Travolta won the KWPN-stallion competition, 1.10m. After having received most points in the first round, Travolta -under the saddle of Pieter Jan Berkers- convinced in the 2nd round as well and won again for Stal Horn. This combination earlier won the jumping for 4-years old at the CSI Geesteren and the IAN-trophy (KWPN championship for 4-year old horses).

Niveau goes abroad

The KWPN-approved stallion Niveau (v. Lux Z x Calvados) was recently sold by his owners mr. Venderbosch and Stal Horn to Italy. The stallion will mainly compete in national and international jumping. Besides Niveau will be available for Italian breeders. The cooperation between De Radstake and Stal Horn will go on, some stallions of the Venderbos family will be presented at the stallion show of Stal Horn (April 3rd 2005) en all stallions of Stal Horn will be available for breeding at De Radstake.

Solitair wins in Vreden with 8,8 points

Far ahead of number 2 the KWPN-approved stallion Solitair (v. Voltaire) and his rider Michael Korompis won the 'Springpferdeprüfung' for 6-year old horses at the national jumping show in Vreden (Germany). With the total score of 8,8 the son of Voltaire was the undisputed winner in a strong field of competitors, in which stallions of various German studbooks as Hannover, Westfalen and Holstein were represented.
