Only two combinations were able to jump two clear rounds in the 1.60m Grand Prix at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Florida, last week. In addition to the extremely successful duo McLain Ward/HH Azur, it were Brian Cournane and the Ustinov daughter Penelope Cruz (ds.Peter Pan, breeder Liam McKee) who cleared the courses. They ended up second in this big class at the WEF

La Gupardie (s.Van Gogh) sixth in World Cup Bordeaux

Jodie Hall McAteer had already started 2026 well with the Van Gogh daughter La Gupardie (ds.Carrera VDL, breeder Frans van de Linden) by finishing 12th in their first World Cup competition together in Amsterdam.

Jackson (s.Van Gogh) strikes again

The sporting successes of the Van Gogh son Jackson (ds.Indoctro, breeder family Engbers) keep coming. Ridden by Saad Alajmi, he won the 1.40m-level class at the CSI2* in Riyadh last week, where they were the only combination to jump clear.
