Giro de la Luna (s.Van Gogh) third in 1.40m class

Since October the Spanish Mariano Martinez Bastida has been a combination with Giro de la Luna, previously successful under Marc Bettinger and Alberto Jaime Harari Cassab. This eight-year-old gelding descends from Van Gogh and has already achieved successes up to 1.45m level. At the beginning of this month, Giro de la Luna and his new rider already jumped to fourth prize in the 1.45m GP of Valencia and at the same competition they finished third in the 1.40m two phase class last weekend. Giro de la Luna, born in Poland, was bred by Sandra Piwowarczyk Baluk.
