Charmeur (by Numero Uno) wins 1.55m in Wellington

04 february 2020

At the CSI4* in Palm Beach, the 13-year-old Numero Uno son Charmeur (ds.Emilion, breeder H. Schonewille from Nieuw-Amsterdam) showed that he still nows how to win. After a break of a few months, he now won the 1.55m World Cup qualification under Sergio Alvarez Moya. “I didn’t expect Charmeur to be so good, because he was off for a few months last year. I started showing him again in November and it took him a little longer than I expected to get fit. But it seems like he really like it here”, said the rider. “He is a bit of a special horse. But once you’re on and in the ring he always tries hard and he’s always with you. When he’s fit, he’s a fun horse to have, and he’s very competitive.”
