Under James Smith, the eleven-year-old Ustinov offspring Simply Splendid
(ds.Cavalier, breeder C.M. Robson) has won more than 3,000 euros last week
at the CSI2* competition in Valencia. They won the 1.40m speed class on
Thursday and took the fourth prize in the 1.45m class a day later, in which
they jumped another clear round.
New Libero One d’Asschaut (Van Gogh x For Pleasure), bred by Ann Muys,
has only been paired with Kevin Staut since February this year and has
already claimed his second international victory.
William Walker secured a fine British victory in the Table A 1.40m class
at CSI1* in Oliva. He achieved this result with Ustino, a son of Ustinov
bred by Richard Jenkinson. This win marks the pair’s fourth international
victory.
