James Smith and the AES-registered Ustinov son Simply Splendid (ds.Cavalier)
always ensure fierce competition. This was again apparent last week at
the CSI3* in Vilamoura, Portugal. In the Grand Prix, which was built on
1.50m level, the successful pair delivered two clear rounds and finished
in a nice third place.
New Libero One d’Asschaut (Van Gogh x For Pleasure), bred by Ann Muys,
has only been paired with Kevin Staut since February this year and has
already claimed his second international victory.
William Walker secured a fine British victory in the Table A 1.40m class
at CSI1* in Oliva. He achieved this result with Ustino, a son of Ustinov
bred by Richard Jenkinson. This win marks the pair’s fourth international
victory.
