At the CSI2* in Lier two offspring of our stallions were winning classes
last weekend. Under James Smith, the Ustinov-son Simply Splendid jumped
to victory in the 1.40m speed class, and Markus Merschformann took the
first prize in the two-phase 1.40m riding the Westphalian bred L’Esprit-son
Global Lifestyle.
New Libero One d’Asschaut (Van Gogh x For Pleasure), bred by Ann Muys,
has only been paired with Kevin Staut since February this year and has
already claimed his second international victory.
William Walker secured a fine British victory in the Table A 1.40m class
at CSI1* in Oliva. He achieved this result with Ustino, a son of Ustinov
bred by Richard Jenkinson. This win marks the pair’s fourth international
victory.
