Three days in a row James Smith achieved great results aboard the Ustinov
offspring Simply Splendid (ds.Cavalier) at CSI3* Birmingham. On Thursday
they started well with a victory in the 1.45m against the clock class,
after which they finished fourth in the 1.60m class on Friday, before finishing
with a nice third prize in the 1.45m class on Saturday.
New Libero One d’Asschaut (Van Gogh x For Pleasure), bred by Ann Muys,
has only been paired with Kevin Staut since February this year and has
already claimed his second international victory.
William Walker secured a fine British victory in the Table A 1.40m class
at CSI1* in Oliva. He achieved this result with Ustino, a son of Ustinov
bred by Richard Jenkinson. This win marks the pair’s fourth international
