With only clear rounds, James Smith won two prizes with the AES registred
gelding Simply Splendid (Ustinov x Cavalier) at the three-star competition
in Vilamoura, Portugal. On Thursday they jumped to the fifth place in the
1.45m speed class, and a day later a double clear round brought them another
fifth prize in the Table A 1.45m class.
New Libero One d’Asschaut (Van Gogh x For Pleasure), bred by Ann Muys,
has only been paired with Kevin Staut since February this year and has
already claimed his second international victory.
William Walker secured a fine British victory in the Table A 1.40m class
at CSI1* in Oliva. He achieved this result with Ustino, a son of Ustinov
bred by Richard Jenkinson. This win marks the pair’s fourth international
victory.
