In Opglabbeek, it were two Numero Uno offspring that ruled the 1.40m
class for young horses. The eight-year-old Deesse des Aubiers (ds.Quidam
de Revel, bred by Michel and Isabelle Bouju) and Gustavo Arroyo won this
speed class, while Pim Mulder with the equally old I Am A Rebel-S (ds.Toulon,
breeder Family Van Straaten) finished second at a minimum distance.
New Libero One d’Asschaut (Van Gogh x For Pleasure), bred by Ann Muys,
has only been paired with Kevin Staut since February this year and has
already claimed his second international victory.
William Walker secured a fine British victory in the Table A 1.40m class
at CSI1* in Oliva. He achieved this result with Ustino, a son of Ustinov
bred by Richard Jenkinson. This win marks the pair’s fourth international
victory.
