At the international youth competition in Opglabbeek, Rik Nauta managed
to claim the victory in the U25 Grand Prix at 1.45m level. He won this
class aboard the BWP mare Kia Maria van de Potaarde (Numero Uno x Chatman,
breeders Stefaan De Vos and Kristel Vertommen), with which he jumped the
fastest clear round in the jump-off.
New Libero One d’Asschaut (Van Gogh x For Pleasure), bred by Ann Muys,
has only been paired with Kevin Staut since February this year and has
already claimed his second international victory.
William Walker secured a fine British victory in the Table A 1.40m class
at CSI1* in Oliva. He achieved this result with Ustino, a son of Ustinov
bred by Richard Jenkinson. This win marks the pair’s fourth international
victory.
