At the three-star competition Knokke Hippique, only two duos could remain
double clear in the 1.50m class. Nicola Philippaerts was one of them with
the BWP bred Hurricane (Numero Uno x Lambada van Berkenbroeck, breeder
Erik Wuyts) and was able to receive 6,000 euros. Hurricane was previously
successful in international classes with Yves Awouters and Ruben de Coster.
New Libero One d’Asschaut (Van Gogh x For Pleasure), bred by Ann Muys,
has only been paired with Kevin Staut since February this year and has
already claimed his second international victory.
William Walker secured a fine British victory in the Table A 1.40m class
at CSI1* in Oliva. He achieved this result with Ustino, a son of Ustinov
bred by Richard Jenkinson. This win marks the pair’s fourth international
victory.
