The much-discussed Global Champions Tour Praque Playoffs brought forward
several striking horses. The Super Cup final was won by the L’Esprit-mare
California, and in the 1.50m class the eight-year-old First One (Numero
Uno x Carolus II, breeder A.M. van Zwamen) jumped double-clear to fifth
place under Henrik von Eckermann. Promising!
New Libero One d’Asschaut (Van Gogh x For Pleasure), bred by Ann Muys,
has only been paired with Kevin Staut since February this year and has
already claimed his second international victory.
William Walker secured a fine British victory in the Table A 1.40m class
at CSI1* in Oliva. He achieved this result with Ustino, a son of Ustinov
bred by Richard Jenkinson. This win marks the pair’s fourth international
victory.
