At the two star competition in Arezzo the Italian rider Matteo Leonardi
performed well on home soil. In the saddle of the Lupicor offspring Casino
Royal (ds.Quick Star, breeder N.A. Toonen) he finished on Saturday as runner-up
in the 1.40m class and on Sunday another good clear round brought them
the sixth prize.
New Libero One d’Asschaut (Van Gogh x For Pleasure), bred by Ann Muys,
has only been paired with Kevin Staut since February this year and has
already claimed his second international victory.
William Walker secured a fine British victory in the Table A 1.40m class
at CSI1* in Oliva. He achieved this result with Ustino, a son of Ustinov
bred by Richard Jenkinson. This win marks the pair’s fourth international
victory.
