At the national competition in Petaluma, California, rider Tali DeJong
performed well aboard the 8yo Dutch warmblood Heavenly Star. This son of
Van Gogh out of a Cornet Obolensky dam, earned the second prize in the
1.40m class on Thursday and they won the 1.40m class on Sunday. This Van
Gogh offspring was sold by Stal Van Ooijen in the Netherlands.
New Libero One d’Asschaut (Van Gogh x For Pleasure), bred by Ann Muys,
has only been paired with Kevin Staut since February this year and has
already claimed his second international victory.
William Walker secured a fine British victory in the Table A 1.40m class
at CSI1* in Oliva. He achieved this result with Ustino, a son of Ustinov
bred by Richard Jenkinson. This win marks the pair’s fourth international
victory.
