Successful weekend for Numero Uno offsprings15 may 2012Last weekend many offspring of our great stallion Numero Uno showed
great performances in the Netherlands, Belgium, France and the United States. In the Grand Prix of Roosendaal (NED) two sons of Numero Uno were placed
in the top ten. On the one hand, this was the 10-year-old Van Gogh (Numero
Uno x Bernstein, breeder: MTS. Stultiens, Weert), who reached an excellent
second place with Caroline Müller. Tom Brinkman and Voila (Numero Uno x
Cavalier, breeder: Frederiks Neuteboom Spijker, Deventer) landed at the
sixth place. During the CSI3 * in Lommel, Belgium Frank Schuttert and the 9-year-old
Winchester (Numero Uno x Nimmerdor, breeder: G. van Beesten) reached a
fifth place in the qualifier for the Grand Prix. In the Grand Prix the
fifth Place went to another 9-year-old Numero Uno offspring, namely Warwick
(Numero Uno x Ulft , breeder) under Roelof Bril. At the CSIO5* in La Baule, France there were two sons of Numero Uno
which helped the Dutch team to reach the second place in the Nations Cup.
Leon Thijssen and his 12-year-old stallion Tyson (Numero Uno x Volltaire,
breeder: G. Lindeboom and EJ Meijer Dalfsen) contributed to the success
of the Dutch team by showing two clear rounds. The new combination in the
Dutch team, Albert Voorn with his gelding Tobalio (Numero Uno x Jacorde,
breeder: BHJ Schroder, Lattrop) finished the Nations Cup with 0 and 4 points.
After a double clear round in the Nations Cup Tyson showed a good performance
in the Grand Prix and reached the 9th place with Leon Thijssen. Even beyond the borders of Europe a Numero Uno son showed excellent
performances. On the CSI3 * in Lexington (USA) Christine MC Crea and Romantovich
Take One (Numero Uno x Karandasj) reached a 7th Place in a 1.60m class
and the 5th Place in the Grand Prix. In 2011 Romantovich Take One won the
individual and team gold medal at the 2011 Pan Am Games with his rider
Christine MC Crea. Back
