Amsterdam, great promotion for Wiemselbach stallions

Out of 40 competitors competing in the grand Prix, 10 horses were offspring’s of recent or past Wiemselbach stallions.  Offspring of Numero Uno, Lux Z, Celano and Nairobi all competed in the Amsterdam Grand Prix.


Eric van der Vleuten and the fantastic mare VDL Groep Utascha SFN jumped a superb and fast jump off and ended up in second place.  Famous Numero Uno son Tamino and Dutch rider Mark Houtzager showed off their qualities ones again and finished third.

 Ben Schroder and the KWPN approved stallion BMC Unaniem (Numero Uno x Voltaire) also jumped a great double clear, they finished fifth.  The spectacular jumping stallion Tyson also by Numero Uno, had an unfortunate 1 down in the first round but nevertheless jumped a good round.

La Gupardie (s.Van Gogh) sixth in World Cup Bordeaux

Jodie Hall McAteer had already started 2026 well with the Van Gogh daughter La Gupardie (ds.Carrera VDL, breeder Frans van de Linden) by finishing 12th in their first World Cup competition together in Amsterdam.

Jackson (s.Van Gogh) strikes again

The sporting successes of the Van Gogh son Jackson (ds.Indoctro, breeder family Engbers) keep coming. Ridden by Saad Alajmi, he won the 1.40m-level class at the CSI2* in Riyadh last week, where they were the only combination to jump clear.
