Great week for Numero Uno offspring!20 september 2010Several young Numero Uno’s had some great results last week at top
shows all over Europe.
The final of the Meydan nation cup was held in Barcelona. Numero
Uno son Tyson jumped fantastic all week and topped it off with a third
place in the Grand Prix. The Grand Prix on Sunday was a big and technical
course over two rounds. None of the competitors managed to jump a double
clear over the 1.60m course. Leon Thijssen and Tyson had an unfortunate
fault in the first round, but jumped a superb clear in the second round
earning them third place in the final standings. The grand prix was won
by Irish rider Billy Towmey and the stallion Je T’aime Flamenco.
The Nation’s Cup in Barcelona was won by the Danish team. Andreas Schou
and his Numero Uno offspring Uno’s Saffier made a big contribution to their
team’s victory. Uno’s Saffier looked very promising as a young horse and
now seems to have a great future ahead of him at the highest level.
Urgent was very successful in Germany, he was competing at the three star
show in Donaueschingen. Swiss rider Steve Guerdat and Urgent are having
a fantastic year, with great results. In Donaueschingen they placed sixth
in the 1.50m class on Friday and on Sunday they came second in the Nature
Energy Trophy. Back
