Ustinov offspring best in Helden

The first Limburg stud book grading of this year took place in Helden today. The jumping horse that attracted the most attention was Bestinov (s. Ustinov x Sarah Jane s. Indorado), bred by B. van Leur in Dedemsvaart (NL) and registered at Stal Hendrix and De Wiemselbach.

Bestinov’s grandmother is Nadieh sport- (spr) s. Indoctro, who as Nadia, made furore as international show jumper ridden by the American Georgina Bloomberg. Jury president Cor Loeffen: “A very generously developed horse who displays much youthfulness. Although still underdeveloped muscle-wise she moves in a very light-footed way. During the jumping her use of her body and her athletic ability were especially noticeable.” The mare was awarded 80 points for appearance and 85 for jumping

La Gupardie (s.Van Gogh) sixth in World Cup Bordeaux

Jodie Hall McAteer had already started 2026 well with the Van Gogh daughter La Gupardie (ds.Carrera VDL, breeder Frans van de Linden) by finishing 12th in their first World Cup competition together in Amsterdam.

Jackson (s.Van Gogh) strikes again

The sporting successes of the Van Gogh son Jackson (ds.Indoctro, breeder family Engbers) keep coming. Ridden by Saad Alajmi, he won the 1.40m-level class at the CSI2* in Riyadh last week, where they were the only combination to jump clear.
