Dutch rider Leon Thijssen took 4th at the 1.60m G.P. at the Birmingham
horse show with his talented Numero Uno stallion Tyson. Tyson is bred out
of the mare Kickyqueen who is by the famous sire Voltaire. The combination
Thijssen / Tyson was also placed 7th in a 1.50m at Thursday. Timo IV, also
an offspring by Numero Uno ended up 4th in a 1.60m accumulator on Saturday.
New Libero One d’Asschaut (Van Gogh x For Pleasure), bred by Ann Muys,
has only been paired with Kevin Staut since February this year and has
already claimed his second international victory.
William Walker secured a fine British victory in the Table A 1.40m class
at CSI1* in Oliva. He achieved this result with Ustino, a son of Ustinov
bred by Richard Jenkinson. This win marks the pair’s fourth international
victory.
