Numero Uno son Timo convincing at highest level

26 may 2008

Besides the Super League Nations Cup in Rome (Italy) last weekend, there was also a CSIO-5* in Lissabon (Portugal). The British Team won the Lissabon Nations Cup thanks  to the performance of the Numero Uno offspring Timo (x Damiro) who received one time penalty in the first round, and four faults in the second round. Timo’s score was of great value to the British Team victory.

During the 60.000 Euro Audi Grand Prix, the bay gelding Timo was placed in front again. In this 1.60m Grand Prix over two rounds, the Numero Uno offspring ridden by Tim just 8-year-old Numero Uno offspring took revenge and jumped a fantastic clear round, which resulted in a well-deserved fourth place in this difficult Grand Prix.

Tattoo (Numero Uno x Lux) was also presentin Lissabon. Ridden by Dutch rider Maikel van der Vleuten, the eight-year-old Numero Uno daughter was very successful. The combination placed second twice and once fifth.

Just as in Lissabon, Numero Uno was also well-represented in Rome. Ridden by Marc Houtzager the Numero Uno x Farmer gelding showed again his power and jumping quality. The combination was placed second in the Welcome stakes just behind his team mate Vincent Voorn with Audi’s Radja.
