Numero Uno son Take One Hippiade champion again

Last year the Numero Uno x Karandasj gelding Romantovich Take One won the class Z in the Hippiade championship. Last weekend, the combination Wim Derks and Take One was again honoured as Dutch Champion, but now in the class ZZ.

The careful 8-year-old Numero x Karandasj gelding ridden by the 17-year-old Wim Derks from Zeeland, permitted no penalty points during this exciting ZZ class final.
The couple withstood the enormous pressure to remain clear in the final also. Last year the combination was also crowned Champion of the Province Brabant and Hippiade Champion in the Z class. This year, they jumped at a higher level and were once again crowned Dutch Champion, but now in the Class ZZ. The ambitious Wim Derks describes his Numero Uno gelding as very careful, with a great mentality and a lot of power. During the coming months the ‘golden’ combination want to gain more experience by training hard and competing in a lot of shows. The future looks good for this combination who have already gained a lot of victories.

As a result of his results the past year, Romantovich Take One´s breeders, Family de Waal Malefijn from Bennekom, were honoured during the annual Wiemselbach stallion show. This year we can once again praise the breeders of the Numero Uno offspring as a result of the fantastic achievements of their progeny.

Naturally our congratulations to rider Wim Derks and the owners of the Numero Uno son Romantovich Take One, Family Derks and Mr. van Tuyl, for this tremendous performance.
