Good start in KNHS / KWPN Mitsubishi Stallion Competition

Thursday evening 30th November, the first stallion competition took place at the Hengelo on Horse show.

The 4 year old KWPN ability champion of 2005, Van Gogh (Numero Uno x Bernstein x Burggraaf) ridden by Yves Houtackers was placed 3rd. The judges Mr. C. Loeffen and J. Hamminga honoured Van Gogh with an 8 for the jumping and an 8.5 and 9 for the rid ability in the course.

Six stallions were placed for the jump off in the Stallion Class Cat. B (1m25). Stable rider Michael Korompis rood all three De Wiemselbach stallions double clear! The KWPN and Zangersheide approved stallion Ultime Espoir (Chellano Z x Laeken x Fort de la Cour) was placed on a nice 3rd place, Upgrade (Heartbreaker x Pilot x Frühling) ranked 5th and the Stallion Show Champion of 2004, Ustinov (Libero H x Nimmerdor x Marco Polo) was placed 8th.

Thursday 14th December the second competition will take place at the accommodation of De IJzeren Man in Weert, The Netherlands.

La Gupardie (s.Van Gogh) sixth in World Cup Bordeaux

Jodie Hall McAteer had already started 2026 well with the Van Gogh daughter La Gupardie (ds.Carrera VDL, breeder Frans van de Linden) by finishing 12th in their first World Cup competition together in Amsterdam.

Jackson (s.Van Gogh) strikes again

The sporting successes of the Van Gogh son Jackson (ds.Indoctro, breeder family Engbers) keep coming. Ridden by Saad Alajmi, he won the 1.40m-level class at the CSI2* in Riyadh last week, where they were the only combination to jump clear.
